Great food amazing staff

If you're not into spicy, or very strong margaritas, this place is not for you. I can't handle either, so I need to find a different Mexican restaurant. If you like things strong & spicy, then this is the perfect place for you.

Shredded chicken with caeso sauce excellent

Love the chips & salsa, we didn't taste a lot of sodium,(salt)on these great chips! Their salsa verdant is delicious! We just stopped by for a drink & try their salsa & chips, we're glad we did! We'll definitely go back for meals.

It's a horrible place to work and their kitchen is dirty. The cooks can talk to staff however they want and if you try to stand up for yourself you get fired. The food isn't horrible but you might find really nasty things in it. They cook in rusty dishes. Honestly this place should be closed down, terrible business.

Great Mexican food at a good price.

Fast and kind service, delicious food, lots of fun options on the menu. We enjoyed ourselves. You do have to be careful about the hot plates but in my mind, that is only a bonus because the food is piping hot. So good! I hate being served lukewarm food at a restaurant but you don't experience that here. We had a great experience here!

We enjoy coming here. The service is fast, the food good. It would be difficult to enter for handicapped. I love their Chimichangas, my husband always orders the Fajitas. Not many places better in Fort Madison.

The best Mexican restaurant in SE Iowa. The staff is always quick and friendly. Their food has always been fresh and tasty. Their salsa is wonderful! Much better than spicy tomato purrie that many restaurants use. The fish tacos are fabulous! I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.

They recently raised their prices 20-30% but did not improve the bland food. Extra salsa now costs $1.95. The waitress criticized me for ordering a strawberry margarita, saying it was not good. It's definitely not worth the outrageous prices.

Coming from Arizona I was expecting more. The salsa is decent and some food on the menu is good. But, the best thing on the menu is their hamburger. The staff is friendly and the prices are not bad.

Very polite and great food

Despite the poor Facebook reviews, we decided to give this place a try! Glad we did! Our service was prompt, courteous above-average! The food was really really good! And the fried ice cream was delicious and pretty! I would recommend this place and I would eat the here again. It's like stepping into an old fashioned 1990s Mexican restaurant between the decor and the music it's a pretty neat looking little restaurant!

Great service with a sense of humor definitely made me feel comfortable even when the baby we brought with was crying.

Good flavor except a little too spicy for me, understand sometimes catsup too spicy for me. Cheese dip wonderful. Today I had steak nachos. Needed beans and sour cream to enhance. Liked they had lunch specials. Generous portions but little large prices too. My 6 and 8 yr olds like to eat here and like spicy food. Wish I had requested waitresses name. She was fantastic, told us she was longest waitress there.

Food is always tasty and service is great. Prices are very affordable. I've never had apoir experience here.

Chili rellenos were good

We had a yummy lunch special of enchiladas, beans and rice. The service was good. The place was clean. Atmosphere was nice.

Incredibly understaffed. Referred here by a local. Started by self seating ourselves, despite sign asking us to wait. Forever to get drinks, and order taken. Hoping kitchen is better than dining room.

I dont know what happened, but our food was uneatable, I ordered what I always do and it was bad. And the bill was outrageous for 2 people.

This place was nowhere authentic food. My boyfriend nor I will never eat there again. That kind of food we could have made at home for half the price we paid for it! If I didn't have to give a star, it would have none.

Great service. Great food. Menu needs a redesign as it's overwhelming. Margaritas are potent, but would be better if they didn't use a mix and made them in house. Always come here when I'm in town.
